What does “verified price” mean?
A price appears only when the backend marks data available and returns a positive numeric price. Source and retrieval time are shown when available.
Why might a product have no price?
A retailer may omit data, the variant may be unclear, or the backend may not support that listing. SureDeal should show unavailable instead of estimating.
Are watchlist targets monitored automatically?
No. This workspace stores targets in your browser only. Account alerts require sign-in and a verified current retailer price. Monitoring depends on server configuration; notifications appear in the app only.
Does SureDeal use affiliate links?
Eligible retailer links may include tracking when configured. Affiliate tracking is separate from price retrieval and is not evidence that a price is current.
How do I remove local data?
Use Profile → Clear local SureDeal data, or clear this site’s storage in browser settings.

Information in this browser
This browser stores saved product links, recent analysis URLs, feedback drafts, API address, theme, and guest preferences. Guest watchlist targets remain local reminders. When signed in, profile, preferences, watchlists, price alerts, and in-app notifications are stored on the SureDeal server and associated with your account.
Information sent to the backend
When you analyze or compare a listing, the product URL is sent to the backend address configured in Settings. The backend can contact retailer and AI providers according to its configuration. Do not submit private URLs or personal information.
Server records
Verified price history and user account data are stored in SQLite on the backend. Legacy operator alerts remain in a separate JSON store. Account sessions use an HttpOnly cookie; email verification and password recovery require working server-side SMTP delivery. Price notifications are in-app only. Choose a trusted backend and do not use this prototype for sensitive personal data.
Retention and deletion
Use Profile → Clear local SureDeal data to remove this browser’s saved links, watchlist, recent items, feedback draft, API address, and preferences. Signed-in users can delete their account and associated account records after confirming their current password. Global verified product price observations are not account-owned and are retained.
Cookies and analytics
This workspace uses browser storage for local-only items and an HttpOnly session cookie when signed in. No analytics service is configured by this workspace.
